A Community rooted in natural beauty and a rich heritage

Lawrence Park is defined by landscapes which offer an abundance of outdoor amenities. The most iconic of these local favourites are the Blythwood Ravine, Alexander Muir Memorial Gardens, and within close reach, The Estates of Sunnybrook, Edwards Gardens, and the Toronto Botanical Gardens. For residents interested in some recreational activity, local clubs including the Rosedale Golf Club, the Lawrence Park Tennis Club, The Granite Club, and the Lawrence Park Lawn Bowling and Croquet Club are just minutes away. One of the many benefits of being located directly off Yonge Street is the ease of commuting. For those who wish to use public transportation, the Lawrence Subway Station is within walking distance from Strathgowan Avenue. Lastly, for those who appreciate social settings, retail therapy, and great food, a leisurely walk down Yonge will bring you to boutique shopping and some of the best restaurants Toronto has to offer. There is no other neighbourhood like Lawrence Park, and as a resident of The Winslow, you can call it home.

In 1907, Wilfred Servington Dinnick, President of the Dovercourt Land Company, acquired and developed the land we now know to be Lawrence Park. Over time, the neighbourhood has evolved from the garden suburb Dinnick envisioned, to a garden oasis in the heart of the city.
